There’s something about a short dress with high boots that just makes me think of the 60’s. Years later this combination still manages to feel fresh, modern, and allows to little twists.

True Story–when I was little I refused to wear jeans. I would only wear my “princess dress” and all things that looked that ball gowns. While I still stand behind that attitude–and still love a good gown– it’s possible that I wasn’t aware that jeans could look like this; and that denim in general is one of the most amazing things ever. This is one of those effortless outfits–with effortless pieces that look amazing with anything. And can we talk about how easy they go together?!

There is simply no other item in my closet that’s as versatile than this Rodebjer “Art Dress”. It buttons down the front, back and sides–meaning that you can wear it almost any way you can imagine it! There’s a reason why capes have been a mainstay for the past few seasons–they are endlessly chic and comfortable. I bought this one on ebay, it’s supposed to be a dress, but on me it’s a tunic. Pairing it with ripped jeans leads an easy vibe and together I feel all pulled together.
