I spent some time in TX over the Easter holiday and was amazed to find spring – not too hot, not too cold, and even caught a Tx thunderstorm . It was heavenly! And made me super grateful I had packed this white trench- a fresh take on a classic!
There’s a reason why capes have been a mainstay for the past few seasons–they are endlessly chic and comfortable. I bought this one on ebay, it’s supposed to be a dress, but on me it’s a tunic. Pairing it with ripped jeans leads an easy vibe and together I feel all pulled together.
Whether you’re celebrating Easter, Passover, or another holiday hope you’re surrounded by love! And that your day rocks as much as this classic outfit of mine.
These 3.1 Phillip Lim pants are another closet staple! I love the way that they are a little avant-garde but are so comfortable. Again, they can be dressed up or down and look great with just a tshirt!
I don’t like to play favorites in my closet; just like a mother, when asked I will tell you that I love all my clothes and shoes and bags equally. But if you press–there are some pieces that I turn to over and over again–like this denim jumpsuit. At first, I was not on board with the jumpsuit, but I cannot explain the versatility and comfort of this piece. I can dress it up or down, throw on scarves, jewelry–and the whole time feel as if I’m in pjs. It’s a win-win!
Whether you think of Sunday as the beginning of the week or the end of the week, Sundays seem to be day when people have routines that they stick to. Laundry and calling your family. Brunch and “Sunday Funday” with friends. Relaxing and reading. In season, watching football (and I will try my hardest not to make this corner a football corner when that season comes!). There is a comfort in knowing what to do and expect on a day of the week–and hopefully you get some rest in there too!
I love Sundays–and yes, I fall into the football ritual group. No matter what I do on Sundays though, I try to take a good half hour to myself. I’m a planner and a list maker (other rituals that bring me comfort), and I like to plan out my week. I know that things will always pop up, but having an idea of what I need to get done always clears my mind–and makes starting the week less stressful.
I’d love to know–what are some of your Sunday rituals?
Culottes are everywhere this season! And with good reason–they’re comfortable, versatile, and able to be dressed up or down. I love them–so expect to see more!

Grey is one of my favorite colors–and one of my “go-to” neutrals. Here mixing different textures and shades lends some pop to a monotone outfit. And these Tibi sandals– one of my favorite purchases for spring!

It’s already in the 90s here in LA- meaning all I can think about is what will keep me cool! I’m loving these Jcrew cargo pants as a new neutral- and they are amazingly light. No matter how hot you are, hoping you have a great Monday! Xo RA
