Western boots are in again this season, and no matter what we personally thing about them (it’s aok, I have mixed emotions too), if this is what they look like, and these are the kind of outfits we can make, I’m in.

If you follow me on Instagram (@racheladelicia), you know that last week I started a video series called “What We’re Wearing”, a space for us to chat about trends, our fashion thoughts, and what we’re wearing. (Not on Instagram? You won’t be left out, a new episode is going to drop every Tuesday, but I’ll be posting all the episodes for the month one Sunday. You can’t miss me!) This week we chatted western boots.

Believe it or not, these had the title “western boots” in them when I bought them. I love the pattern, the stitching. But western boots? I don’t know about that. What I do know is that they are insanely chic, and wearing them with all black felt almost rock and roll. (Note: these also look great with jeans and skirts, I love the heel, which makes it easy to pair these with so many lengths!)

It’s not that I don’t love color, but there is just something about wearing all black. Details like a strapless top and a fitted blazer edge it up and make it standout.

If we love the end result, does it matter what we call these boots? Or what direction we’re going?
I’m going with no, but I’m also going west!

I’ve linked similar items for you below. I’d love to know your thoughts on western boots, western outfits, and all the things!
