Gift Guide: Hostess Gifts!

Or as We like to say here at Investment Piece: What to Bring for the Holidays!

As an aside: Thank you so much for your patience yesterday as we dealt with technical difficulties. We are back. We are up and running. And we are so excited about the things coming-for the holidays and beyond. This is usually the space where you find our series such as “Designer Spotlight”, “Trend to Try”, etc. Well, it’s the holidays! And as much as we love our series (and hope you love them too), it’s time for gift guides, holiday dressing and how to’s! Our series will make a reappearance in January; until then we have gift guides for everyone and every holiday situation you will encounter. (We also have some exciting holiday news and specials for you!) SO, MWF you can expect our outfit posts/inspiration. On T/TH expect all sorts of Holiday Gift Guides and Sales! Sound good? Good!

First up on our Holiday Gift Guide: Hostess Gifts. In the next few weeks, parties start. And there’s Thanksgiving. And Friendsgiving (if that’s your thing). You’re going to be a guest. Long story short, you need a hostess gift. (If you’re going to a pot-luck the best bet is to bring your assigned dish, drinks to share, and anything else the host needs!) No one likes it when people show up empty handed, so I’ve rounded up some the things that I would love to receive if I was hosting you! Also: no one ever turned down a good bottle of wine or liquor!

Some of my faves (including advent calendars and cookies):

Other great ideas for a Hostess Gift? A piece of China from their collection. Some thing for the dog or child in the home. Some thing non-holiday related. Flowers. A gift card for a maid service.

Other Things I love?
this candle advent calendar,
This beauty advent calendar,
this wine advent calendar,
And anything from this Neiman Marcus Collection would be amazing!

I’d love to know: What do you think is a great hostess gift?
