How to copy: Get as close as you can to the orginal, but not too close.

One of my favorite things? When I’m able to recreate a runway look for less, or even from my own closet. I was able to do it this summer, see it here. This look? It’s inspired by this look from Attico:

I fell in love with this embroidered skirt, loved it paired with pink, and knew I had to wear something like it!

How to Copy: Again, I did what I do. I searched the Internet for options. This time I googled “Chinese wrap skirt”. And once again, Etsy came to my rescue! I found this skirt, and had my tailor add the tie to make it a wrap skirt. I paired it with a favorite sweater (seen before here), and these stunning Attico ankle cuffs (seen before here). While not an exact match, this look had all the elements of the one that I loved!

I did find you some similar skirts on Etsy as well! Check this one, this one, and this one out!

How to Copy: Get inspired! This look would be perfect for holiday parties, cocktail parties, and any night out. Alone the pieces would be just as great. The sweater goes with everything from jeans to skirts. This skirt will always stand out, but there are so many top and shoe combinations you could pair it with. (I would stay away from Blazers, but I think it would look great with a white button down.) These ankle straps? Wear them with flats, heels, sandals, and with jeans, skirts, or dresses. The only thing I can think of that they wouldn’t go with is boots! (Of course at that point, you could always change them to wrist straps if you had to wear them!)

How to Copy: Wear this look as is (I think it’s perfect) or take parts of it and make it your own. There is no wrong way!

I’ve linked similar pieces below, I’d love to know: How are you going to copy this look?
